You can also use different websites that can help you find keywords, we will cover these in a later session. If you want a paid solution, Kindlepreneur.com has created software called KDP Rocket which is very good. We use this tool ourselves at PromoteYourBook in combination to an exclusive database that we have created through our experience with hundreds of customers.

J.Customizing Your Ad

Once you are done with your keywords, you will need to select some custom text. This can be up to 150 characters and need to comply with basic advertising policies and guidelines like avoiding capitalisation. We will dive deep into creating your copy in the next lesson, so for now just try to use something similar to your ultimate promise, or if you are selling a novel something that ignites an emotion or curiosity in the buyer.

You will have a chance to preview your ad. At this time you can save your campaign as a draft or submit for review.

The Amazon team will take a few hours to review your ad, they will check that your sales copy and your keywords are compliant. You will have completed your first campaign. Tomorrow we will dig into Ad copy and Product Display Ads.
